Stupid Hurricane Never Hit

Stupid hurricane never hit, she told me
as it couldn’t really be farther than the truth
it certainly did it, and it will keep on wrecking
the shores of our youth, the homes of our young
and the playgrounds of those yet to be of age
to enjoy all they have to offer
oh, the hurricane is well underway
and it is to those, who have yet to experience it
just a hurricane off the troubled shores of time
but to those caught in the eye, it can be so much
more, or so much less

time is but a game we play to the pass the time
