And you?

What will you have accomplished by the end of this poem?
Don’t turn your eyes away now, you’ve already begun
The chain of pain and sadness that is your life
Is well underway, and there is no escaping life
only in death, can you look for peace, and so I’ve been
told, there is little peace to be found in that either
So what will you do, now that you know your only
escape from life, is just another painful chain of events
leading infinitely onward toward eternity
